When

5 – 6:30 p.m., Sept. 11, 2024

Join us for a beginning of the year mixer and opportunity to learn about supports available for astronomy and physics majors and minors. From tutoring to student clubs, and career development to social events, get to know some of the many offerings available to support your personal and academic success as a U of A student. A panel of astronomy and physics majors will talk about how they got through the first two years of their program – tips for classes, homework, forming study groups and how to navigate the program as an international student. This is also a chance to meet the TIMESTEP Leaders, who are a group of experienced astronomy and physics undergraduates who have volunteered to lead TIMESTEP discussions and be a resource to their peers. If you want to know what it’s really like and get advice from the students who were just in your shoes, come to this meeting!
